About Real Life Roleplaying

This is a 5e game to play with yourself or others. The goal of the game is to turn yourself into an Adventurer. These stats can be used for motivation in everyday tasks, a party game of tasks, increased roleplaying, escape rooms, or other creative and safe uses. Player cards can be carried in a wallet or name tag holder for easy anytime use and can be passed out to friends and strangers.

How to play

You are making a Player Character (PC) using the Creation and Leveling Rules on each PC Card. The PC should resemble yourself as closely as possible. Everyone starts at Level 1 regardless of age since your adventuring has just begun. The exception to this is if you are joining a party, a group of 2 or more, then you can choose to match the lowest member’s level. Anyone in the party can request a Skill Check for a Task or you can choose when to make your own rolls. 

To perform a Skill check roll a D20, add your Ability Modifier and any relevant prophecies, and compare them to the Difficulty Check (DC). Rolling greater than or equal to the DC will be a success, Less than will be a failure. Naturally rolled 20s always succeed and Natural rolled 1s always fail, track these on the cards Crit Tracker. You then will play out the scenario you rolled regardless of actual skills. This effect lasts 5 minutes. 

Materials

1. Printed Cards (cut and folded to wallet dimensions).
2. 4 6-sided dice, only for creation.
3. A 20-sided die carried with the card.

Rules

1. ALL Opposing PCs and NPCs decide how an event is resolved.
   1. Let Non Player Characters in on the fun and respect their boundaries and consent.
2. The Crit Tracker can also be used for notable non-rolled events on the day. 
   1. Ex. You did not roll to see the tiny pin on the floor but saw it anyway, marked as a Crit Success or you stepped on said pin, Crit Fail.
